The July Edit

A Hamptons rebrand with real character, a cozy village hotel opening in the English countryside and the noteworthy places I ate, shopped, and slept in Mexico.

Happy July, friends!

I feel like I have so much to catch you up on. I’ve been traveling for just about a month and am happy to report that I’m back on Kaua’i. As much as I love being out there exploring, I can’t tell you how good it felt to finally sleep in my own bed.

In this newsletter:

  • A recent opening in the Hamptons that’s east coast preppy meets coastal cottage meets Americana.

  • A stunning new-to-me villa with interiors by the same designer as one of Egypt’s most storied hotels.

  • Where I stayed and the places I loved during my recent trip to Mexico City, Morelos and San Miguel de Allende.

This one's for paid subscribers. Join Idyll to unlock the full edit and support independent travel writing.

And if you’re PR and represent a property you think my readers would love, feel free to email helloidyllmag@gmail.com — especially if it’s an upcoming opening!
