If there’s one thing to know about me it’s that I love a special hotel stay, but nothing quite compares to the feeling of scoring a “deal” on said stay. I’ve been sifting through a lot of seasonal travel offers in hopes of finding something to inspire my next trip. And there are a lot out there right now — be it Black Friday, Cyber Monday or Travel Tuesday so I thought I’d narrow down the ones that caught my eye. Who knows, maybe they’ll inspire your next trip too?
I’ll continue to update this list as I learn of noteworthy deals, so feel free to check back!
Auberge Resorts Collection is offering up to 35% (depending on the resort) when booking by Dec. 2, 2024 (promo code: FRIENDS24). They have so many beautiful design-forward luxury stays that I’d love to experience. I’ve been to Mauna Lani on the Big Island of Hawai'i three times since it’s just a quick island hop away — it’s truly my happy place. A few of their properties that are high on my list: Commodore Perry Estate in Austin, Texas, Wildflower Farms in upstate New York and Hacienda AltaGracia in Costa Rica.
Austin Proper just emailed (11/22/24) a surprise 72-hour offer for exclusive rates (and waived amenity fee) from $339/night for stays through Sep. 2, 2025. Huge fan of designer Kelly Wearstler’s work and love their Santa Monica location, so I’m betting this one is beautiful too.

Dawn Ranch in Guerneville, California is offering 35% off stays (promo code BLKFRI) for bookings made by Dec. 4th, 2024. We took my parents here last year. It very much gives camp vibes (it’s right on the Russian River) but with a design-led spin. The food and spa were both surprise hits for me. Highly recommend.
Faraway Nantucket in Massachusetts is offering 25% off bookings (promo code CYBERMONDAY2024) and Faraway Martha’s Vineyard is offering 15% off bookings (promo code CYBER24).

Lunuganga in Sri Lanka is offering 35% off bookings made until Nov. 29, 2024 for stays through Dec. 23, 2024. The former country house of famed architect Geoffrey Bawa is definitely on my shortlist.
MacArthur Place in Sonoma, California is offering 50% off bookings made by Dec. 3, 2024 for stays through May 22, 2025. Great little home base for a wine country trip.

Nobu Hotel Los Cabos in Mexico offering 35% off (book by Dec. 6, 2024 for travel through December 18, 2025). I’d go for the crispy rice with spicy tuna alone!

SB Winemaker’s House & Spa Suites in Mendoza, Argentina is offering 30% off stays of 2+ nights in Jan. and July, 2025 for bookings until Dec. 3rd, 2024. With just 7 wellness-focused suites (some with saunas), this boutique hotel from winemaker Susana Balbo is the kind ond special stay I live for. Plus, Argentina is definitely on my shortlist!
Sparrows Lodge in Palm Springs, California is offering 30% off stays until Feb. 12th, 2025 when booked by Dec. 2, 2024. I stayed here before they renovated and loved it then, so I imagine it’s only gotten better. It’s got a super low key rustic vibe.
The Surfrider in Malibu, California is offering 35% for bookings made between Black Friday and Cyber Monday Week for stays into Spring 2025. Stayed here last winter and loved it!
Timber Cove Resort in Jenner, California is offering up to 30% off bookings of 2+ nights made by Dec. 2, 2024. I haven’t stayed, but I’ve been for lunch and the coastal views are incredible.
Viceroy Hotels and Resorts is offering up to 35% off stays between Nov. 14, 2024 and Dec. 31, 2025. My husband and I went to Sugar Beach in St. Lucia years ago and had an incredible time. It’s beachfront right between the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Pitons (mountainous peaks). The rainforest spa reminded me of Disneyland’s Adventureland Treehouse (formerly Swiss Family Treehouse).
As I mentioned in last week’s post, I recently became a travel advisor working with host agency Fora. It’s been super fun diving into this passion of mine, although I’m definitely still learning the ropes. I’m not exactly the most “salesy” person, but figured I’d give it a try since I love researching, discovering and categorizing new (to me) stays around the world.
If you do decide to book with me, depending on the property I can get you added perks which may include any/all of the following: daily breakfast for 2, room upgrade (subject to availability), $100 resort credit and early check-in and late check-out (subject to availability). Feel free to reach out at ronee.uyeshiro@fora.travel if you have questions!
